Any woman golfer who has reached the age of fifty years at the time of application for membership and is a member in good standing of a NC golf facility or LGA, shall be eligible for membership. Should a member terminate her membership in a NC golf facility or LGA, her membership with the NCSWGA shall be discontinued. Yes, BUT…. The policy states that “a member missing three consecutive tournaments will be dropped from active membership. This member must submit a written request to the Board of Directors if she desires to be reinstated and payment of annual dues for the missing years will be required.

The Tournament Committee establishes deadlines for cancellations with or without penalty.

Every effort is made to ensure that the tournaments are held in the fall months, most always in September.
Since the association has divided the state into three regions (Coast; Central; and Mountains) the tournament site is rotated through all regions: Mountains in 2023; Central in 2024; and Coast in 2025.
